How far in advance of my exam date should I take this course?

Enroll in the class as soon as possible, up to a year in advance to ensure that you will be ready to take the exam. It's wise to finish the course and acquire the skills before you even start the sciences. This also ensures that you'll be ready to apply by the start of the application season. You will be learning a skill that is not easy to learn or to master. Sometimes this challenge is too much for students to handle given an upcoming exam date and school/life obligations. When you give yourself a lot of time to prepare, you are setting yourself up for success. Since it's a skill, you will not forget what you learned (like driving a car or riding a bike). Your skills will only improve with time, as long as you devote time to it each week.
